Cookie Policy
This document explains what cookies are and how they are used in connection with the website https://color-laboratory.com (hereinafter: Website).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, phone, tablet). They can be read by the website that set them or, in the case of embedded content, by its provider. Other browser storage mechanisms (e.g. local storage) serve a similar function.
2. Does our Website set cookies?
The Website itself sets only one cookie of its own – cl_consent, which stores your decision from the consent banner for 6 months (see section 3). It is necessary to honour your choice and does not require consent. We do not set analytical, marketing or tracking cookies and do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or tracking tools.
To measure traffic we use Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc.), a tool that works without cookies and without storing anything on your device. The script is loaded from our own domain and, on each page view, sends the page address, the referring page and information about your device and browser type. Visits are not linked across days or across websites, and we receive only aggregated, anonymous statistics. More information is in our Privacy Policy.
3. Embedded content and third-party cookies
On selected pages we embed content provided by third parties. This content is loaded from those providers' domains, and within their own domains the providers may store cookies or similar data on your device – independently of us.
YouTube videos and the Google map are loaded only after you give your consent – in the banner shown on your first visit, or directly in place of the video or map. Without consent you see only a notice there, with an option to load the content. The contact-form protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) is necessary for the form to work and does not require consent.
| Provider | Where on the Website | Purpose | Provider's policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) – privacy-enhanced mode | home page, About us, product pages with a video | playing embedded videos, remembering player settings, YouTube viewing statistics (cookies only once playback starts) | policies.google.com/technologies/cookies |
| Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited) | Contact | displaying the embedded directions map | policies.google.com/technologies/cookies |
| Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) – necessary, no consent | Contact (form) | protecting the form against spam – distinguishing a person from a bot | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
We have no control over what data these providers collect or how long they keep it – this is governed by their privacy policies.
4. Managing consent and cookies
You can change or withdraw your consent to embedded content at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the Website footer – the banner will appear again. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
You can also manage cookies in your browser settings: block all or selected cookies (including third-party cookies), delete cookies already stored, or turn on a prompt each time a cookie is about to be set. You can also use private (incognito) browsing, in which cookies are deleted when the browser window is closed. The relevant options are in your browser's privacy or security settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others). Please note that deleting the cl_consent cookie will make the banner appear again, and blocking third-party cookies may prevent an embedded video from playing or the map from loading; the rest of the Website will keep working.
5. Personal data
The controller of personal data processed in connection with the Website is Color Laboratory MD sp. z o.o., ul. Wolności 24, 02-496 Warsaw, Poland, e-mail: biuro@color-laboratory.com. Information on the purposes and legal bases of processing, recipients of data and your rights can be found in our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to this document
We may update this document, in particular if new embedded content or tools appear on the Website. The current version is always available on this page.
